These *re:gn laundry sheets are eco-friendly, plastic-free, and a convenient, easy-to-use alternative to traditional liquids, pods and powders.

There are unscented and naturally scented sheets available, and we were sent a pack of each to try. They are so easy to use – just place in the washing machine drum, add dirty laundry on top, and start your chosen wash setting. With no powder or liquid to deal with, there's no mess or risk of spills.

Results were excellent at both 30 and 40 degrees. The laundry sheets are made with natural ingredients that are vegan and biodegradable, and are gentle on clothes. They dissolve completely so, unlike some powder detergents, there's no residue left behind. Our clothes also felt soft after washing, with no need for fabric softener.

The scented sheets are fragranced with natural flax. This is a lovely fresh fragrance that isn't overpowering, and leaves clothes smelling clean but not perfumed. Some members of our family have sensory processing issues, and struggle to sleep when bed sheets are washed in strongly perfumed detergents – so we were delighted that this wasn't an issue with the scented re:gn laundry sheets.

The unscented sheets provided the same excellent results, and are another option for anyone who doesn't like fragranced products – and ideal for people with sensitive skin.

Each pack of re:gn laundry sheets contains 64 laundry sheets, and we found that one sheet was enough for a normal load. For a larger load of washing, we added an extra sheet. The sheets can be torn into halves or smaller pieces, so there's no wastage for smaller loads – you can use exactly the right amount for your needs. At between 10p and 20p per wash, the sheets are excellent value.

We used them for handwashing, too, by tearing off a small piece and dissolving it in warm water.
