Russell & Atwell Chocolates £19
Russell and Atwell's fresh chocolates make a delicious gift for a friend or loved-one. There's a great choice of flavours, including milk, dark, hazelnut and salted caramel. These palm-oil-free chocolates are made in small batches with high-quality fresh ingredients, such as organic British cream and wildflower honey – and are designed to be kept in the fridge and served cold. With their rich flavour and creamy texture, they are ideal as an after-dinner dessert or a mid-afternoon treat.
Jennifer Moore Birdwatching Logbooks £5.99
These charming log books are ideal for birdwatchers – and would make a thoughtful gift for nature-lovers of all ages. With easy-to-identify illustrations, Town and Country Garden Birds features 22 of the birds you're most likely to see in your garden, park or community green space – from blue tits and blackbirds to robins and wrens. Each page includes useful information about a particular species, with notes on plumage, calls and behaviour, and a space to record your sightings. Town and Country Garden Birds would be an excellent aid for completing the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch in January. There are also four other titles in the 'Habitats' series: Urban Garden & Parkland Birds, Coast & Clifftop Birds, Pond & River Birds, and Forest & Farmland Birds – as well as five location-specific titles featuring birds from different places across the UK.
SeaForYourselfCo Bamboo Cutlery Set £7.95
This alternative to single-use plastic cutlery is made from sustainable bamboo, and is biodegradable, recyclable and compostable. The set consists of a knife, fork and spoon, along with a bamboo straw and straw cleaning brush – all neatly contained in a beautiful drawstring bag. The bags are available in several lovely designs, making this a stylish little kit for meals on the go. The cutlery is completely biodegradable – so once it's finished with, it can simply be composted or recycled. The packaging – made from kraft paper – is biodegradable and recyclable too. SeaForYourselfco is on a mission to reduce plastic pollution, and 20p from every purchase is donated to small environmental charities. SeaForYourselfco is currently supporting 100 Tons of Plastic – an organisation working to remove plastic waste from our seas and shores while raising awareness of the plastic pollution problem.
Greens Steel Reusable Coffee Cup £20
Britain uses around 2.5 billion disposable coffee cups each year – and very few of these are recycled. Avoid adding to the mountain of coffee cup waste by investing in reusable cups for your loved ones. Greens Steel coffee cups are made from high-quality food-grade stainless steel, and feature double-wall insulation to keep beverages hotter for longer. There is no metal after-taste or odour, and there's a built-in handle to make it safe and easy to carry hot drinks. What's great about this particular cup though is that's it's leak-free – meaning you can slip it into the side pocket on your day pack for a hot drink while out and about. And because of the durable materials used to produce the cup, it should last for years. Available in two sizes and three attractive colours.
Perky Blenders Winter Blend Coffee £8.50
The recyclable packaging for this delicious coffee features a festive illustration of jewel-toned winter fruits and foliage, created by London-based artist Karen Brotherton. This is Perky Blender's much anticipated annual Winter Blend – each year sees a new blend of coffee presented in new artist-designed packaging. The coffee is a rich blend with notes of Christmas cake and sweet chocolate – ideal for Christmas morning or enjoying after dinner. Perky Blenders is a family business that's committed to being as sustainable as possible. All coffee beans are sourced sustainably – prioritising smallholders and independent farmers. All elements of the Winter Blend bag can be recycled. London-based customers can also enjoy zero-waste coffee by visiting any Perky Blenders' Café to fill their own containers with Forest Blend or Decaf beans – and each time you fill up or buy beans in store you get a free coffee.
Blästa Henriët Eye Pillow £17
Blästa Henriët eye pillows and wheat bags are made with sustainable linen flax, unbleached cotton calico and Cotswold wheat. The gorgeous designs are printed using a traditional rotary printing method with eco-friendly water-based inks and no nasty chemicals. The unscented, weighted eye pillow is ideal for meditation, yoga or relaxation – blocking out light to produce a calm and peaceful atmosphere and reduce stress and anxiety. It can also be heated in the microwave and used as a heat pad to reduce aches and pains, or cooled in the freezer to soothe tired eyes or help relieve headaches. The eye pillow arrives beautifully packaged in recycled straw paper – and a card with a hand-written, personalised message can be included free of charge.
JHG Jigsaws Jigsaw Puzzle £8
We particularly like 500-piece jigsaws here at Little Green Space, because they don't take up much room and can be completed in a couple of days. There's often not so much choice with 500-piece puzzles though – so we were delighted to discover the huge range of different designs by JHG Jigsaws. There are lots of nature-inspired puzzles to choose from – from Arctic wildlife to British birds – as well as charming scenes from rural life. There's a good range of unusual circular puzzles too. JHG jigsaws are produced in Dorset, using eco-friendly materials such as recycled, FSC-certified board and starch-based glue. Raw materials are sourced in the UK whenever possible. A fantastic selection of great value, quality puzzles.

Pure Lakes Silken Bath Foam £14.50
Made with relaxing lavender, calming chamomile and comforting patchouli, this luxurious foam bath eases stress and provides respite from the hectic demands of the festive season. Made with high-quality essential oil, it smells divine, and is soft and gentle on the skin. Pure Lakes products are made with natural, sustainable and biodegradable ingredients – mostly plant-based and grown with minimum use of fertilisers and pesticides. These are carefully sourced using Fair Trade and small co-operative suppliers whenever possible. Pure Lakes operates using multiple environmentally friendly practices, including using packaging produced from recycled material, or material that is recyclable. Glass is used where appropriate, but when plastic is a necessary alternative, an eco-friendly and sustainable version – made from a biopolymer that is a by-product of making sugar – is used. There's also a refill scheme available for customers to reuse containers and reduce waste.

Rugged Nature Shower Kit £14
This handy kit contains everything you need for a refreshing shower: a bar of soap, soap-saver bag, natural loofah sponge and cotton face cloth – all contained within an attractive drawstring bag. Rugged Nature shower soap has the wonderful, invigorating fragrance of rosemary and lime – and the kit includes an exfoliating soap-saver bag. This makes the soap last much longer, as the suds are released slowly through the fabric – just pop the bar into the bag and use it to wash with. Rugged Nature products range from shaving soap and beard oil, to hair clay and shampoo – and they are all 100% natural, made using simple no-fuss ingredients and formulations without the use of harsh chemicals or palm oil. There's no plastic packaging either – instead packaging is made from card and other easy-to-recycle materials.

Each body oil is made from the finest plant oils sourced from Weleda's organic fair trade farming partnerships, and the handy size means they are great for travel. This Christmas, to celebrate Weleda's centenary, the sustainable beauty firm is working in collaboration with UK charity TreeSisters, with the aim to create a forest of one million trees to help combat climate breakdown. A tree will be planted for each gift purchased.

RSPB Murmuration Organic Cotton Scarf £15
There's a super selection of nature-inspired gifts available from the RSPB shop this year. We love this 100% organic cotton scarf, in duck egg blue and printed with an elegant bird motif. The environmental impacts of conventional cotton farming can be devastating – it uses large volumes of water, which has led to the loss of habitats around the world, and is often produced using harmful pesticides that can poison rivers and wildlife. However, organic cotton is produced ethically, without the use of synthetic fertilisers and pesticides. These scarves have been certified by The Global Organic Textile Standard, which ensures textiles are produced in a more ecological and socially responsible way.
